Homeschooling with Target's Dollar Spot

Apparently it is beginning to smell a lot like "Back To School Time" at Target. I am really trying to keep things simple this year. I don't have a lot to buy just one book and maybe glue sticks. After decluttering and hitting the sales last October I don't need any supplies. But I could not resist Target's $1 school items. I used everything from last year's bargins to create wonderful lapbooks and save printer ink.

Here are some of the goodies I found....
Nice upper level readers.

Nice United States Map and notebook foldout with all the state maps.

These will be used in lapbook and notebooks.

Nice unit study on the presidents.

TS is very into animals right now. I see a lapbook on lions, sharks and whales in the future.

Yes, I whole book of science experiments, more animals activities for lapbook.

Oh we are going to have so much fun. Thank you Target.

These resources look so great! I can imagine a bunch of moms on the My Father's World loop swallowing them up if they're doing the grade two package. I need to find a store like that here in Canada!

Thanks for letting me know you'll be sharing a post about how you started using binders to store lapbooks. I'll pop in to see it. :0)

Blessings!
